The end was much easier dry than it was when it was raining in October. I don't think I backed up or gave it any "extra" throttle up the whole trail.

I know this is a crazy question, but did anyone pay attention to the speeds they were traveling this last weekend on the trail? I am going to regear to get a little better holeshot and rock garden performance and I am trying to figure out how deep to go. I have options... 2.93 (current), 3.15, 3.23, 3.38, 3.45, 3.91, 4.44 Lots to choose from and I am already limited on my top speed by my gearing. My current setup would have me at 62mph on the rev limiter in OD. The 4.44s would drop me all the way down to 41mph on the top end. Trade offs suck.

I honestly don't know. I never think to look. I'd think top speeds at times 50 MPH on 12 at the most. Probably easy to figure out though. Rev limiter, tapped out in first gear 1:1 with 4:88's, stock TH350 gearing, and 39" tires. Sometimes into 2nd pulling good.

Y'all were zipping up the mountain at a pretty fast clip on Saturday, so I'd imagine that's about right. I wasn't close to keeping up at 30-35 in places.

The dealer replaced the oil filter/cooler housing that was leaking and I cleaned it up this afternoon. Still smells like burning oil though.

Jumbo, the skeleton video made from my passenger ridin' with me was hilarious by the way! Custom fuel cell being built as we speak, new shift cable ordered, and new front brake hardware on the way. Should be ready for the poker run then....

you getting a fuel cell made the same dementions of the rci tank u had?? Im looking for someone to build me one same dementions as the rci2161 just with better material and bracing so it doesnt crack

Go to ideal and get the aluminum and cut it your self. Design baffles/bracing however you want it. Use the fill neck from your RCI tank. I have a roll over valve and you can order a pickup and return. Then bring it to the shop down the road from the house and JP can tig it up for you. He is very reasonable.
