Finally got an opportunity to weigh camper this past weekend when I stopped at a scale to snag a geocache. Loaded with 2 bikes and a full cooler it was 1600 lbs. heavier than I thought for sure, but not too bad.
Finally got an opportunity to weigh camper this past weekend when I stopped at a scale to snag a geocache. Loaded with 2 bikes and a full cooler it was 1600 lbs. heavier than I thought for sure, but not too bad.
I figure its about 200lbs of bikes and bike rack hanging off the back, so I'm looking at around 1400-1500 loaded up for a normal trip. The mileage with the bikes on the back drops about 2mpg though because they break the airflow coming over the back of the camper.
