Found the drag link end at the axle has a tiny bit of slip also, so new TREs all around for the old girl. Everywhere gets a new TRE

I just don't think 37s are on the table for me.

Got all the bedrug kit in last week before the wedding, it really transforms the feel of the jeep inside. Its much quieter. Now I just need to swap in the last two TREs for the Drag link.

I'm pretty sure if you carry around wet dogs, any carpet will end up smelling like wet dogs. Just sayin'.

well, I had been reading a few threads like this:

And ava has gotten too big for her carseats with headrests in the back of the jeep. So It was time to find a way to get head rests in the TJ.

I followed the same process shown above and ended up with a pretty sweet outcome. It needs some tweaking for the fold and tumble. (a bit more foam trimming), but it works great and fits perfect.

Stock JK seat top frame:

JK seat frame with the mounts moved to match up with the TJ seat bottom hinges:

My JK seat top is leather, but this gives you an idea of the outcome. I'll try to snag some pictures when I get a chance.

One thing I didnt see noted in the original writeups was that the carseat latches are botched in this swap. The TJ has the mounts on the seat upper and the JK has the mounts on the seat lower, so in doing this swap you essentially remove all of the carseat quick attach points. That being said it would be easy to add them as I did to my older 97-02 style TJ back seat.
