New Smartphones

I rebooted my droid and its working good again. I'm going to see how long this lasts and then just get whatever is out at the time when it dies. I think I'm going to pick up a laptop for now.

If you are just browsing the internet, get a chrome book or tablet. I really do like my tablet.

so as luck would have it the screen on my droid x started getting lines in it a few weeks ago. I called about the warranty and they say it is due to abuse and pressure on the screen...

so anyone have any other things to add?

its down to the S4 or the Iphone 5.

but it sounds like the HTC One is coming to verison soon, and possibly the S4 Active... I'm not making a purchase yet, I'm going to hold onto the X as long as I can.

The web says the s4 active has been available since June 21st. Personally I don't think they would hold up. It even says they are not rugged or shock proof. So the first hard shock and that seal will be shot. But time will tell.

You know my stance on iCrap . I'd go android on a S4 or a luminia windows phone the seem pretty neat.

If i get the s4 active i will still protect it somehow with a case... but its a little extra security in my book.. I've had all of the cassio G'zone phones and my current one is the Commando... Amazing for their strength... I've put these phones through so much hell and they are still going strong... so i believe in the "active" style phones...

I've had my iPhone 5 for awhile and no complaints so far. I keep mine in a life proof case so I'm not worried about water and I've dropped it a good many times and all is still good. Plenty fast for me, easy to use, battery life is good, and camera comes up quick for those spur of the moment photos. Siri is also great for those lonely nights... I uh mean Siri is helpful sometimes.

droid has a few new droid offerings coming out next week that blow the iphone stats out of the water with battery life and memory. They even have a Droid Mini thats sized to compete directly with the Iphone 5.

I hear a few people say this, and others like mason are always bitching about it glitching of having a mind of its own.

Still pretty happy with my work Iphone. Works good for emails, as a phone, and basic internet device. Decent apps as well. I do have issues sometimes with the 3G not being fast enough with Pandora but that won't be a problem with the iphone 5. I have no use for Siri nor use it.

My mom just got a Galaxy S4. She loves it. Then again she likes anything that is new.
