I've had a lifeproof for a month now on my iPhone and I like it a lot. It's easily the slimmest case with full protection. The only downside is it isn't quite as loud in the earpiece when talking. But overall I'm happy and it's waterproof, dust proof, and takes a beating.

That with a contract?

Ever since moving to Atl, my 4s and verizon 3g been sucking a big one, i rarely get service and go into the 1x zone alot, whatever the hell that is. Thought i should look into the 5s and get on the 4g/lte around here

I'm scared i'm gonna have to upgrade pretty soon. My 4 battery is getting shitty. As well as the phone getting slower since the last software update.

yeah i should have never done ios7, it eats your battery faster than a dog can eat a steak left on the counter.

My life proof case for my galaxy s3 sucks, I got it when they first came out over the summer and since then the top has cracked and is missing a piece and the bottom door thingy broke off while charging. It also doesnt let me use just any micro usb charging cable which really sucks. I am about to get another otterbox.

I've got a 5s for work. So far, no complaints. Having some issue pairing it via bluetooth but I think I just need to fiddle with it some more. Guy here at work disabled the email notifications. Basically the phone only notifies me when there is a call or a text. Otherwise I have to manually go in and check the mail. This seems to have improved battery life significantly. The 4G of the 5s is GREAT. Notice it is much faster. Only thing that pisses me a bit is I've got a ton of iPhone 4 connectors...but none of them work with the new phone. That said, next time there is a groupon for the new cords, I'm going to buy a couple. Usually they are 10ft which is nice.

My personal Galaxy S4 is still good. No complaints but I'm not all "wow" about it. It works and its fast. No issues. Basically a similar version to my old phone but with buttons that work. If you don't play games on them the battery lasts a long time. Charging is a bit quirky but if you use the charger that came with it, its very quick. Otherwise it can be kinda slow.

Overall I don't think you can go wrong with either phone.

Well, I got tired of waiting for the windows phone to catch up in the app market. But it wasn't even close. The phone and os were great, but without the app's, you might as well get a flip phone. Went back to the iPhone. Got a 5s. Glad I did.

I'm really liking the iphone5s, I have not found anything yet that it doesn't do better than my droid. Given my droid was 3 year old technology. The battery on this thing lasts 2 days! I can actually check the forum on tapatalk for more than 3 minutes without killing my phone dead.

2 days??? How much do you use the phone?
if I use tapatalk or facebook a lot during the day I can run it down to around 30% when I get home, but this weekend for instance I went saturday and sunday without charging it. Sunday night I was at 10% battery left. And I check rccrawler and offroadsc pretty religiously.

One thing to note, the fingerprint scanner is hit or miss for me. I think my fingers are so calloused up that it many times doesn't recognize my own finger. I would say 50% of the time it works on the first try.

Is the back of the 5s aluminum or plastic? My 4s is damn near indestructible I feel like except for the speaker getting metal shavings in it.

My boss man and his wife both have the 5c and have had trouble with both. Her back came loose from the screen when she dropped it and he dropped his and cracked the screen, $300 later he's got a new screen.

I like it, the phone with the case on it is so much lighter and slimmer than my old droid. but it has nice edges which make it easy to hold and grab out of your pocket.
