That's the same year as mine and mine tows the toyota with a heavy trailer just fine. You want to look for a 3.73 gear if its got the little V8 mine's got 3.55 and its not a big fan of the hill climbs. The millage is right too, mines got 125K on the clock but I have been driving all over the US and Canada though.

Mine has the 5.4 so i think I should be fine with whatever gears are in it. I don't really have any immediate plans to tow with it yet, but I will definitely be looking around for trailers when big wheeling trips come up.
