nah, just used it to pull the camper out for a wash when I got back from F3 this morning. Looks like around 1500 miles next week, it will be nicer in the mini van.

Got back from the trip and noticed I had a little bit of new camber on the trailer. Jacked it up and found the pivot bushings are worn out. Called Timbren yesterday and they confirmed it looked worn out, but said it shouldn't be with only 10k miles on it. They are sending me an updated set of control arms free of charge to fix it up.

hopefully the new design will fix the problem for a long while.

Timbren sent me both swingarms and I replaced them last fall. We’ve been rocking and rolling in this thing since then.

I did notice that I need to tweak the alignment of the spindles after I installed the new arms. The spindle bolts onto the arm and has some room for alignment.

Pretty awesome hipcamp we stayed at this past weekend.

This thing has been a load of fun for almost 7 years now. Decided to put on some new to me tires and swapped to gladiator wheels for the full effect.

Anyone using a backup camera on the back of your camper? what did you do? is it battery powered or wired? ties to your cell phone I guess? Does it work well?

This teardrop has been amazing, but our daughter is getting a little bigger and we are looking at options with a longer bunk. I'll be listing this for sale later in the spring if anyone knows of someone looking.

Teardrop officially changed ownership yesterday. Richard scooped up this sweet adventure rig and I know he will continue to take it on awesome adventures.

Seven years of adventures out of a homebuilt offroad teardrop is a massive win - you clearly built it right the first time!

Bittersweet to see it go, but at least it's going to someone who will keep using it instead of it sitting in a garage; those torsion axles and the MaxxAir fan setup on V2 are probably immortal
