Mean Green

Diggin' the **** out of the ORI's. The body roll was zero. We got up to some good speed also. Glad mean green is bout ready for the trail. See ya wed. with bootleg in hand. C'mawn....

Looks awesome nick. I must say hella impressed with them fitting with no binds like they did without mocking them up and cycling.

Did you or are you gonna cut that cross member out before the trip or that happening when the cell goes in I forget?

shhhhhhhh........I mocked them up. Just in my head. No, not gonna mess with the crossmember until my kids are grown up. That will probably be the next time I can go wheeling. This will be my last trip for a while so glad its OSCAR! Cmawn??

I figured out what caused my front end failure. It was my doings. I didnt have enough clearance for my front shaft and under certain flex, the shaft would hit the factory transfer case bracket. On big perm it hit it so hard on uptravel that something had to give. Unfortunately that something was a few things. Hopefully I will have some new build updates sooner than later.

factory transfer case bracket?? you mean factory skid?

Left out the word shifter. Transfer case shifter bracket. The one on the tub drivers side with the 4 bolts. I cut off the corner closest to the shaft and ran it with 3 bolt but it still was not enough for the Perm. I didn't take the time to take the front springs and bumps out to check for clearance. One day I'm gonna learn. Well maybe.

My floorboard is even dented where it hit. That I can work around with cable shifter but a small body lift would help too. Are .5" body lifts available?

I told ya I had one at the house for you. Rokmen .5" body lift. I'm replacing my factory mounts with ones lifted up so I don't need it.

How'd the ORI's do? You like them?

I thought I remembered someone mentioning that. Yea Steve that would be great, I'm sure I can find something to trade ya. I have zero complaints on the shocks. They were soft as hell and I could definitely feel the bump stop soaking up. It sould be mucho better when I relocate the rear crossmember to achieve full bump on both wheels at same time.

Scored some slicks so I can drive it the mall again. Schwing!
Real updates coming soon. I got a new used truss from Will today. Thx for bringing it back DeMarcus. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1367720022.118468.jpg

Here's the truss I stole. Thx Will.
Dang Nick, you work quick. Already cleaned it up and shot it with a fresh coat of paint. Cut those limit strap tabs off of the coil buckets and you'll be good to go. Not sure how much front stretch you have on your rig at the moment, but the buckets were moved to compensate for a 2"-3" front stretch while keeping the springs from bowing. Enjoy, hope it works for you with out too much tweaking.

So watcha gonna use the street tires on the bling rims for, combing the local high school parking lots for underaged tail?

Yea I noticed how the coils were moved back. That's going to be great as mine are bowed like crazy with the front stretch. There was a lot of grinding on the top of this girl son.

Yea I will prob cruise the cinemas and the Wal Mart in the new rubbers.

I'm actually considering selling the Walker Evans and sending these to Champion to have them bead locked. The back spacing is more appropriate and I think the look will be good.
