We spent Wednesday through Saturday at Creekfire RV Resort (site 42) near Savannah. It's a very nice resort, very commercial, but all the sights were full hookup with long level pads.

We felt a little out of place.


We may not have a Tiffin, but we got that good ice.

We went in to Savannah and explored in the mornings and hung out in the pool/splashpad/lazy river in the afternoons.

We will be back because we won a two night stay in their adult Easter Egg hunt.

We spent last weekend at Chau Ram site #10. Thursday night we had the place to ourselves then a few others rolled in Friday. We had such a good time we decided to extend our next trip a couple days.

I don't make much sawdust in this shop, but I had a quick little project we've been talking about forever. I wanted a shelf between the front cabinets to get some stuff off the floor while we're set up.

I got a 24"x 6' "project board" from Lowe's (link below). Of course nothing is square in this thing but I made it look as good and centered as I could.

Side note... the board covering the tail light wiring in the cargo area came loose and I found they screwed right through the wire. I removed the board, secured the wires, and have a little more cargo room.

Another amazing long weekend at Dupont Yurts Campground. We were in site 190 this time for 4 nights. We went to Jeter for apples on Saturday, Chimney Rock on Sunday, and Sliding Rock on Monday.

Just winterized the camper and replaced ANOTHER battery disconnect switch. Last trip the power was intermittent when running off battery. When I went to turn on the water pump today everything turned off. Jumped the disconnect and everything back on.

When you winterize do you blow out the lines or use RV antifreeze or both?

When you winterize do you blow out the lines or use RV antifreeze or both?

Blow out lines and pour a little antifreeze down the drains. None in the inlet lines. Mine has low point drains which helps alot. The only issue I've had is the pump inlet screen cap cracked a year or two ago because its impossible to get all the water out but they are cheap.

Yeah, I've read you can run some cheap vodka through your pump since you can't get it all out.
