I have the benefit or curse, depending on how you look at it, of being able to see the roof of my camper from my dining room window. The roof needed to be cleaned. Old fashioned elbow grease worked ok, but is there a better way?
Other than "You're supposed to wash the roof?" (@Twilliamson ) or "I have people for that." (@jimbo92 )
I'm hoping I can do it sooner next time and find something to spray on and wash off.

Not specifically camper related, but camping related. The last time we took all 4 bikes camping we put the kids bikes in the storage door of the camper and adult bikes in the back of the pickup. With the shell on it was a pain anyway, and the truck is gone so had to come up with a better solution.
I ordered a Swagman XC2 and stuck it in the front reciever. This was less than ideal...
It's not designed to be flipped, but all it took was through drilling a couple holes. Much better.

We spent Saturday-Tuesday at North Beach Family Campground near St. Augustine. Loved the campground and probably will go back. It runs from A1A to the waterway with nothing built on the beach in front, so basically clear from beach to intercoastal. 160+ sites but they're all pretty secluded and shaded.
We had brutal wind for the trip down, but this rig handled it like a champ. I was surprised by how much it was downshifting, but I guess a headwind will do that. The trip back was excellent.

The last couple trips we've had power, but I noticed the battery seemed to be getting weak when setting up or stopping at rest areas. I was about to buy a new battery, then remembered @Twilliamson had mentioned the battery disconnects failing. I had ordered one a few days ago to have a spare and it showed up today. The switch had gotten hard to turn so I went ahead and swapped it out. Problem solved! And another one ordered for a spare spare.
The switch itself is "sealed" and I didn't take it apart to investigate further. But it felt crunchy when turning so probably internal corrosion.
I posted it on the IBEX group and someone else pointed out that it's in a terrible spot. Any spray from rear tires of tv is directly on it. Several said they either have or plan to move it into the front storage compartment.

We spent the weekend at Oconee Point Campground on Lake Hartwell for the Clemson 4 Wheel Center Fun Run. I didn't have time to address a few things on the Jeep before the trip, so we hooked the camper to the "Travalanche" and hit the road. It's red, 5.3, BFG Tires, one functioning locker, so essentially the same right? Drug the trailer hitch a little on the optional route but 4 doors, cold AC, and cargo room was nice.
It handled the trailer much better than I expected, but we didn't have any water in the camper. I don't know how much difference 250 lbs of water would make. Ideally I would have moved the ball mount up one position and transferred more weight to the front, but I didn't want to mess with the setup for the 2500.

Had a weekend of chairs in the river relaxation (and some storms and some tubing) at Grumpy Bear campground near Bryson City with @97TJGUZZY and @Fenrir and families.

We tubed Deep Creek but didn't have phones. They also made a couple tube runs right in front of camp.

It was pretty fancy. You might need to wear a vest and get Madi some fuzzy boots.
It was really nice. We got there about 15 minutes after opening and people were already parking outside the gate. Main lot was full but we parked in the secondary lot down the hill which is just a set of stairs up to the market. There's also a 3rd lot that was being shuttled later in the day.
Market is huge, big covered play area. Coffee shop, cider shop (hard and slushies), donuts. Tractor wagon ride to the orchard for picking. It was a good time.

We spent this weekend (7/13-7/15) in Arrowhead site 32. We originally booked 32 and 34 planning to take the Jeep up too. Last minute we changed plans, canceled the extra site, loaded the canoe and kayaks and headed up.
Friday we went to the Falls Reservoir from the Badin side. We were the only people on the lake. Definitely need to do this again.
Today we paddled around a little at the Arrowhead landing and packed up after late lunch and headed home. Lots to do tomorrow.
