Last year Brooks flops on an obstacle he's done a dozen times. This year, I decided to take my jeep, trailer, and truck offroad...
This was after I had backed it out of the woods as far as I could, but it was sliding towards a tree on the left rear corner. It started sleeting at 1:30 this morning. There was a couple inches by the time we left. I came over the top of a steep hill leaving the cabin, touched the brakes and the abs just pulsed, tapped brakes a couple more times but it wouldn't slow so I just let off the brakes and tried to drive it out. Luckily I missed all the big trees, but took out a little one. It dented the bumper and bent/broke what they call the skid plate, but nothing serious.
What sucks is I ordered tires two weeks ago to get them on before this trip. They ended up being back ordered, and showed up yesterday...
