Went to mill house last night for dinner. Had their brown ale. It was legit. It had a good flavor and a lot of bite to it for a brown ale. Also had their oatmeal wheat. It was decent. Would be a good summer beer. A little hoppy but a smooth flavor. They are getting much better on their brews. The first two I had from them were trash.

Talked to somebody last night about there beers. I need to try them next time I'm that way. There buffalo chicken pizza is sex in the mouth.

There's a little place in Abbeville called Nattys that's across from the village grill that's got like 25 beers on tap I've been drinking a good many of them when I'm in town. Blue point lager I had last night was pretty good. Been drinking a lot of Amber ale's lately too.

If your ever wanting a date night restaurant in Greenville, there's a German restaurant off Laurens rd called schwaben house that's killer, went there a few weeks ago and had a few German beers that were good, a dunkel that I liked a lot.

I got the chance to try a couple good beers this weekend.

Singha: my go to light beer with spicy hot Thai food. Get them ice cold and cut the spice in your dish by chugging away at these things.

Oscar Blues Pinner IPA: Good solid IPA. Not going to win any contest, but it is light for many craft IPAs going around now. I could actually drink a few around a fire.

Unita Hop Nosh: A much more potent IPA with crazy hop aroma. The flavors were good and it didn't burn out my taste buds so I could continue drinking.

Anderson Valley Huge Arker: Crazy good, but at $18 a bottle it better be. 13.5% so you don't need many. Great chocolate, vanilla, and bourbon flavors though.

After those it gets a little fuzzy on beer names. Probably one to many shots of Jager or a few to many 10%+ beers. It was a buddies birthday and he really loves to show off his beer fridge.

That Anderson Valley sounds like it's right up my alley. May have to check it out next visit to Flynn's if they have it. Will make a request if not. Their growler list has Creme' Brulee coming soon. Pretty excited about that.

Bells comes out with this IPA every winter with a low number brewed and you have to have sold a certain number of other bells beers to be able to get it. Had it at nose dive and it was great.

Nobody's posted in here in forever. Still drinking beer.

Oskar Blue Pinner throwback IPA ImageUploadedByTapatalk1436754463.537035.jpg shitty pour

Great beer. Love canned craft beers and Oskar Blue does a great job with it. Ive been drinking dales pale ale all the time lately.

Had this the other day from the suggestion of a guy at work and it's a good beer for being outside on the water where a corona or landshark is usually drank

Tried the Small Town Brewery's new root beer? its pretty tasty for one, not something I can drink more than 2 of though.
Speaking of Root Beer. I had two when I was in Chicago. One was called Rowdy Root Beer. It was really good. Then I had one at State and Lake that was called Not Your Grandaddy's Root Beer (I think). They ordered me a 32 oz. one and after about half way through it informed me it was 20% ABV. Holy crap.
