Wife's Daily Driver - 2017 JK Sahara

#1
Figured I'd add some flavor to the board.

We picked up a new to us JK for the wife's daily driver back around Thanksgiving. When I changed jobs in February, I took some time off in-between and did some upgrades to the JK.

2017 JK Sahara, with all the bells and whistles from the factory.

70K Miles and was still on the original tires.

As always, white letter BFG's are a must to park in my driveway (less Camaro because that doesn't make sense)

Did a 2/1 Mammoth leveling kit and Bilstein 5100's.

Plan to do the filter housing modification this year sometime just as a PM. May end up changing the bumpers if I find the right deal on some Hardrock versions. All in all, we are very happy with the Jeep. It's been a great purchase so far and hope to get lots of years of service from this one.

We love it. Wife is comfortable in it, and Braz loves having a Jeep to ride in.

Also kicking around the idea of another "adventurous" vacation this year since we have a more family friendly Jeep. 1500 miles in 10 days in a TJ was a bonding experience for sure, but don't know if I want to re-live that.

Yeah, I'm starting to plan a cross country for 2027 or 28 and want a comfortable capable vehicle for it.

Nice. I HOPE to be back out west in that time frame myself. Our 2025 trip pushed to 2026 and is now 2027... Hard to justify the time away with Braz. But, the new work arrangement will make it more feasible.
