I personally have never been to big on hawe creek the camp sites are to far off the water and most of them you half to hike up a hill to get from the water. But if you are just camping for the night no big deal right.

I have never been to lake greenwood state park, but I think lake Thurmond looked better than lake greenwood.

How many potential campers are you talking about Brooks? Im a member of a private campground on the lake in Mcormick. Depending on the amount maybe able to figure something out. Just 1 night?

Yes, just one night. I'm thinking could be up to 10-15 campers maybe . Not sure yet because we haven't announced when the trip is.
