OHV. We did its first trans rebuild at 195ish just as a precaution. It never failed.

I had never heard of the 22" transits so I googled it. That seems like a huge waste for GM. They buy basically steel blanks from some supplier, mount tires on them and install on the vehicle for transport. Then the service guy at the dealer breaks them down and mounts the same tire on the fancy 22", which is shipped separately from GM?

Anybody know why? I think the robot at the plant has a better chance of mounting without scratching the wheels. Or can the existing robots not handle a 22"? Or is it to keep someone from stealing the rims while the trucks are waiting to be loaded in Detroit?
