I don't fly near as often as I used to, but I have always enjoyed it. It has been 50+ years since my first flight. Coast to coast on a prop plane!

I just flew back from Portland on Sunday. When I worked for Navistar I would usually fly somewhere for work every couple of weeks. It gets old but I got to see a lot of cool places like Alaska and Denver for free.

I'm almost done with the LS swap into the 1985 K30 that my dad bought new. I kept the original SM465 transmission and transfer case in hopes of keeping it a little more simple. It specs 100 more horse power than the previous tbi 350. Of course now I want more out of it. The truck has been painted once, circa 1990, because the factory silver just did not last. I plan to leave the paint as it is for a while so that I don't have to be afraid to use the truck.

Tucker that truck is awesome! I love all your classic rigs. Next swap a 6BT into the dually suburban. I always smile when I see that thing driving down the road. My dad is a Suburban guy and has had 4 during my lifetime. His 2000 2500 burb has 350,000+ miles on it.

I've "repaired" rockers with spray foam and galvanized roof tin before. Covered it with bed liner and it was barely noticeable .

I used to see that all the time back home, rocker panels and cab corners, a friend of mine back home just at got a 95 f150, he sent me this pic of the rease hitch, I don't understand why he don't want to pull a trailer with it. Lol
