Post your Picture of the day

That's pretty awesome brooks.

Buddy of mine up here got me to build a bar top and legs for his back porch that's pretty ridiculous. Powdercoated the legs and were coating the top in this stuff to keep it raw looking but protected from the elements. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1435315401.592519.jpg

We picked up a Dana 44 and a Dana 60 for our shop Jeep project and checkout what we found. Yes, That is a Pittman Arm welded to the knuckle in place of a Hi-Steer arm :bang:

didnt see this till I had already replied on facebook, but I think either Tommy Glenn or Chris Durham did this on a few rigs since I have been up there.

It used to be pretty common in the 70s-80s as the pitman arms and knuckles are forged steel, not iron like the center sections.

All that being said, I wouldnt trust it.

It wont be staying. Well, It will just so I can easily roll it around the shop. But either another flat top knuckle, or a set of Reid Racing knuckles with high steer arms will be sourced when we decide on the steering.

Accidentally sent Jim a pic from our bike ride testers enjoying a nice chocolate sea salt king of pops earlier. Before he has a chance to photoshop a dick on it I'll post it. Went for a little ride on swamp rabbit to the swamp rabbit grocery. Nice being so close to the trail we can jump right on and cruise.

To stay on topic. Snapped a pic of a friend of mines 51 this morning that's got a 6.0 in it. Building a 54 currently for his wife.
