Took these prototype breakaway sheaves to get pull tested today and see how much it would take to break them.

28500lbs and it straightened the hook. Not a single weld broke or cracked.

Yep, actually thought that it would fail earlier and it would of been the pin that goes through the sheave that would be the failing point. The hook is rated at 4k lbs and the ratio is 5 to 1 from my understanding so it did great. I Instagrammed part of the video but it was pretty violent.

Carolina chain and cable in Duncan, like right off exit 60. They sell all kinds of chain, cable, hooks and straps.

Instaflexxed this the other day. Laser cut parts are the tittybang, laser cut tube is f'n awesome. Zero effort to make it square and level even with a lumpy floor.

I rode by just before he landed, but with all the FPS & homeland security Tahoes running around it was probably a smart idea that I didn't stop and try to take pictures of the landing.


In other news, I didn't expect so much iron on the magnet with only 4K miles on the JK.
