Dagnabbit! I really want to go on this one, too. I will be in MI that week. 😣 Maybe it will change and I can go a different week. We have global peeps coming in from Japan and EU.

Some general notes from my research. Several options for trails to explore.

Drive time to Beasley Knob from TrackRock Campground is ~ 20 mins
Trails around Beasley Knob (some do not open until March)

Chattahoochee River Road is SE of Beasley Knob, close to Helen and Tray Mtn but is a 13 mile run along the river (Augustine Gap Rd is an additional 6.5 mile loop off this road). Could also run down Tray Mtn Rd nearby. If we go down this way, lunch in Helen might be an option. Drive time from Track Rock to Helen is 35 mins

Ivylog Road is just north of Blairsville/Beasley Knob. Trail is 5.7 miles long. Add Ravencliff Rd and Gumlog Gap and that adds 5.8 miles on to that area:

It’s 55 mins down to this part of the Chattahoochee National Forest. There are even a couple of blue trails down there. Nimblewill is reportedly open. Horseshoe Ridge says it’s currently closed. Not sure if it’s seasonal or not.
