It's confirmed, I'll be there. Camping too. I'm interested in checking out hwy 11 on Sunday as well.

What are the entry fees for these places? Hwy 11 is a $20 donation I believe, no clue about the other place though.

The place we are wheeling Saturday is free, its private land.

From what I remember there weren't really any bypasses and you would probably have some issues in the stockish 4runner. Jimbo couldn't get very far in there in his 4runner last year I don't think.

There was one section that was like a washout that we had to go through that would total the side of it but there are probably ways around that. I am not sure though. The guy who took us made it feel like it was one main trail that had a few branch offs.

Maybe Brook's will chime in b/c I think he's been a few times.

I'm not familiar with that 4 Runner, but like Matt said Jim had a hard time. Drew and Steves Taco both came out with some body damage after that trip...

I would keep that 4 runner the heck outta there. Even if its dry enough to get back in there it will get demolished on the dirt banks on some of those hills. I know cousin ferd is stayin away. However hwy 11 would be a good time.

cousin ferd afraid of getting friendly with some treees???:grinpimp:


And dan, much of it would be a bit rough on the stock 4 runner. I dont know much about the Hwy 11 trails, but I think it would be much more 4runner friendly from what I have heard.

What is the located of the highway 11 location, besides being on Highway 11. Was just going to to do a one day thing with the family. What time is everyone gonig to Highway 11?

its about 40 minutes from where we are camping, I would think we will probably be there by 10 or so, that way we can get out of there in the afternoon to head home.
