With those "canned ham" pumps it is just easier to get on from the FLAPS instead of messing with the rebuild.

I meant steering box sorry. It's leaking. Looks like $50ish for all new seals or $180 for a reman that I've read terrible reviews of.

Well in an attempt to save some money I'm going to rebuild the steering box, I got a rebuild kit from napa using this part number.

are you going to put bearings in it or is just the seal kit? i'd check for wear on the teeth as well.

I would be a buyer for that stock pump and anything else original working or not. Just a reminder.
I am absolutely going to pull those shafts this weekend for you if you still wanna trade.
Also I have a set of the old school Sun Performance Rockers that you could cut down to work on the CJ 5 maybe. I always liked the look of those. I think Fred even may have used to have a set on his Jeep way back in the day. I finally got tired of them not fitting my stretched wheelbase cleanly so I'm taking them off. I think they would look killer on the 5.
