sold it last tuesday to a guy in vegas. he plans on boat siding it, caging it, and putting walkers and iroks on it. its getting shipped this week some time.
Not really wanting to get out of wheeling completely i picked this up friday…
Its a 2013 YFZ450r SE. I've changed the oil, spark plug, and air filter, and need to check the valves for correct lash cause its a little noisy at low rpm. Most sound the same but i just want to check to make sure everything is in spec. Also i just ordered a full Dasa exhaust system, FCI intake, and msd blaster programmer. Cant wait to get right and go ride.

just picked it up a couple days ago so i havent been able to really ride yet. it does sound a little rough at low rpm and the previous owner said he never had the valves adjusted after the first service so i plan to do that before i really give it hell. most say these motors are noisy anyway so I'm sure it just needs a valve adjustment. as soon as i get it right I'm down to ride anytime. don't know anyplace around here but i was planning on going to durham town some time soon.
