ALTRDTJ build

Don't do a TH400. Get something that will communicate with the computer. You will be much happier.
Plan is to do the flo pro LS kit. What trans would you recommend? Because I’m not trying to have all the neutrals with a 4l60. You are honestly the 1st person thats said not to do a th400.

Okay well I’ve done a little bit to get this engine ready to go off to the machine shop, got it stripped down to the bare block and ready to go to the machine shop. The rod and main bearings looked as i suspected for a high mileage engine, crank looked really good. I need to order my new cam bearings and cam kit before I can take it over to get cleaned up and looked over. Had my helper in the garage with me today to get the crank and cam pulled out as well.

I'm super pleased with my Tooley Stage 2 Truck cam in the CJ. Wish I had done a TBSS converter though so it would chop a little harder. It has the best low end torque i've experienced with a LS engine.

I called Friday to BTR with no answer. What options did you do for the cam as far as the springs go? Beehive springs or the LS6 springs?

Happy Friday y’all, I got a double ended full hydro ram given to me just needs outter seals so today I’ve started on The mount so far. Main tube is 1.75 .120 wall, Legs will be sleeved with 1.5 .250 wall and front tube is getting 1.5 7075 aluminum sleeve. Wasn’t exactly how I wanted to do this but with steel prices and availability I decided to use what I had available!

I have an upgraded pump so it shouldn’t be slower. The single ended ram is just not what I was wanting. My steering sucks and the double ended ram will allow me to better adjust. The single ended ram steers further one way than the other.
good deal, I'm not super up to speed on the DE stuff. I'm glad it will work for you.
