I've only had a JK a couple months and I'm already turning into an overlander. The Bronco we rented in Alaska had a tailgate table and I'll admit it was pretty handy for trail sammiches. Out of all the options out there, I liked the Broaddict the best. I had been watching one on FBMP but it was too far away to be a good deal. They went on sale over July 4th so I grabbed one.

The rear view mirror glass is cracked in this thing and I wanted a backup camera anyway, so I'm going to try to Wolfbox camera mirror. I went ahead and ran the rear camera before I mounted the table.

So... I had the interior trim and subwoofer out to install the rear view camera while I installed the table. After wrapping up the camera install, I reinstalled the sub, tried to close the gate, and the table hit the sub. I saw some of the tables specifically say they did not work with the factory sub, but this one didn't so I assumed it would work. This one will be going back unless another JK/JL friend wants it.

I don't have the hard wire power kit I meant to get for the wolfbox, but I went ahead and temporarily hooked it up.

I like how it keeps everything contained and easy to remove. Harder when you pile a bunch of stuff on top of it though haha. I need to figure out how to make some of these work in the TJ.

So long story short on the Broaddict table, they asked me for a bunch of measurements, pictures, etc and updated their website to say it wouldn't fit with the factory sub. They didn't want to just take the table back and give a full refund because it had been opened and installed, but they asked if there was another product I would like. The only other JKU specific thing they have is the cargo rack so I asked that they send me one and I keep the table.

The cargo rack came in earlier this week and I installed it this evening. It's a really nice product. Super sturdy. They include silicon mats that fit the basket and a cargo net which are a nice touch.

On the install, I feel like I should be on their payroll for R&D at this point 🤣. My hardtop has a locating pin 3" forward of the rear bolt that is not accounted for in the cut. I cut another slot 3" on center forward of the back hole it drops right in. I also swapped the direction of the mounting hardware to put the button heads of the bolts on the inside of the basket and the nut outside. The instructions have it the other way and the end of the bolt on the inside could snag or scratch cargo.
