So got a email from ECG. They recommend replacing the third with one of there’s. Still waiting on a quote but it has a 15 year warranty. That’s sounds hard to beat.

So these guys at ECG are pretty cool. They called me and got it straight what I needed. Got it ordered. Be back on the trail soon

ECG is a good group of people. The 8.8 in the rear of mine was built by them and it has been great.

Same gear ratio? is it a stock 3rd member? did you send them yours? With a rig that big, would be cool to have a spare 3rd you could swap in.

Hmmm? Didn't think about keeping my old one. I'm supposed to send it back and get a core charge of 250. Might be worth keeping it. But yeah I kept it stock except put in a solid spacer instead of the crush sleeve.

No I don't get a locker. If I'm going to go that route I'll upgrade the whole axle.

Well she’s back on the road. All I need now is the wiring harness for the speed sensor. Hopefully that gets rid of all my lights on the dash.

Yes when the CV axle blew up it took out the wire with it.
