This one feels great and came with another spacer that I stacked onto the other one to space the wheel out perfect from the wiper switch. Probably added a few horsepower also.
I removed all of the smog stuff and put a larger KN filter without all of the 90 degree bends that I had with the old cowl induction. This setup really opened the throttle up. Major difference. I also had no more sputtering. I took it to Gulches Sat and it worked great. I don't know what or if anything that I did cured the sputtering. It may be an altitude thing as it usually only gets run in the mountains.
I have always heard that chromos don't yield like that. Stock shafts would twist, chromos would just break. But, that's the third chromo I've seen twisted like that lately...
Yeah they are under warranty but I would have to break it first. I'm just going to roll with it for now. I cant tell if the stock ones are yielded because the splines stop right as they exit the Detroit. I know I wheeled the Jeep the same way on the stock shafts.
