Finally getting some projects done that I've had for years.

Ugly drum smoker isn't 100% done




I've got another great in my shop in abbeville that I need to put in. Also gonna paint it. Gonna try and smoke something this week or next Saturday I just need to figure out heat control and what not.

Also finally made a stand for my portaband
The table for these things are super nice if you don't have a full size vertical band saw and with a zip tie around the trigger and it being hooked up to a foot switch it's handy.

looks good steve. One thing I have seen with my old smoker was with the vents on top like that you cannot smoke stuff in the rain. The lid fills up and pours water on the fire.

Thats an old picture. I talked to the guy that owns it now at the Pickens Jeep Cruise in on Saturday, and I really liked it so I found the build thread on pirate. rnuovrcj5 on here owns it now.

Well... I was trying to install my spartan locker this weekend... it didnt go so well. I was trying to take out the pin that holds the cross pin.... broke a drill bit in one side and a small screwdriver in the other. I tried to drill it out my self and the drill bit turned out to be hardened steel.

which end of the drill bit did you stick in the carrier? the pointed end or the blunt end? The roll pin only comes out one way, it looks like when you were hammering the screwdriver in, you were trying to drive the roll pin out the wrong side. it should go in and come out the end with the larger hole .
