Post your Picture of the day

Jeep looks real good Greg, I was in Greenville visiting my wife's family yesterday and I saw you when we were on the way to and on the way back from the Greek festivle. Timed it perfectly lol

Got part 1 of my tramper down.. Just need a truck and trailer now :grinpimp:

1968 Bethany Chief. Baller status with the pink coral paint. Shes in great shape. It has been in my family since 68 when my grandpa bought it and passed it down through his sons. My uncle just dropped it off yesterday. Ill snag some better closer pictures later. Gonna have the most vintage tramper out there.

The hill to get into Lion's Den doesn't like me any more. I could have just backed out of it, but a rock stuck about 5" into the side of my Jeep and hung me up. Needed a little winch and reverse to get down. Good times.

Funny story. I actually met Coleman33 about 5 mins before this happened after my buddy had just finished Lion's Den. Drive all the way to KY to randomly meet another Augusta local on the trail, then he helped winch me out. lol

Andy had his heart right when he hit that hill for sure. I saw him come up at it the first time and immediately went and got my Jeep and headed to the bottom so I would be down there ready to help with recovery because I figured it would end in a roll. I didn't even see the actual roll, but got there just after they finished. Buggy took a beating. I'm pretty sure it was that last hit right before they stopped that hurt the roof. Roof will need a rebuild, busted ORI (blew the seals out the bottom), and a cracked radiator. Wouldn't have been nearly as bad if he had lighter axles and tires. If it wasn't for the radiator he would have kept riding but he didn't want to chance overheating the new motor. It's back at M&M now for repairs.

For anyone who didn't see

Yeah I figured that last roll took a toll on the buggy. That sucks it tore it up, that was the first ride on the new motor right?

Yeah, he just finished the swap. All that mess going down the hill and it never even touched his hood. The roof is going to need to be removed and replaced. Doing all .188.

Matt, not completely dry, but not wet by any measure. He really needed to feel it out a bit more before hammering on it. I didn't even see the roll. I watched him come at it hard for the first attempt, went and got in my Jeep and headed to the bottom to help him roll it back over (figured he was going to roll it). I got to the bottom just after they stopped and Jake was out watching for fire with an extinguisher in hand.

Andy just needs more wheel time to learn how everything is going to react with his rig. He dropped it off with PJ on his way home from Harlan to get an estimate on repairs. Time to see if that full coverage insurance policy he's got on it will actually pay out.
