Did that going around the right side of that tree on "killin time". Back off too fast and the entire weight of the jeep dropped onto a pointy rock right on the tie rod. 1 1/2 quarter wall.

shoot thats high clearance. Could of just turned the bend up and rocked it. I wouldnt of drove to Clemson just to get 2 tube inserts welded in a piece of tube. Mines bent pretty good, did it on the first trip on the new steering too. Surprised how easy .250 wall dom bent. Wonder how aluminum would do.
