How many on here had drivers license in 1980? How many on here were even born yet. I look at the pics of the these guys on here and I feel old.
We used to go wheeling like this at the City Pond, mud holes, and the Wall in the National Forest. Good ol days in Gwood in the Powerwagon

I wasnt born until '87! A guy at work was telling me about the "wall" yesterday. You talking about the city pond thats over there by the old Northside Middle School?

It was a simpler time. The only enemy of America was the Ruskies. Second hand smoke hadn't been invented. If the President came on the TV, you missed Flipper. The firebird with a golden chicken on the hood was the envy of ever 5th grader.
That's the best thing I've ever read.

I too was born in '87, rat tail and all.

What we called the wall was out in the National Forest off Hwy 72 towards Abbeville. Turn right there at the church on the left. Heck , I can't remember the name of the road or the church right now. In 1987 i was working. Graduated from GHS in 86. LOL! The City pond is on the road that goes from the Stoney Point Cross roads back to Gwood. If coming from Stoney Point past Lil B's 2 it will be right after you cross the creek on the left. The next drive the the LEO shooting range and the next right takes you by the "ladies" prison. The City Pond is closed and off limits now.
