I WENT UP TO THE HORSE PASTURE THIS WEEKEND AND NOTICED THAT I HAD A LOT OF PLAY IN MY STEERING COLUMN... I KNOW ITS NOT ANY BALL JOINT'S OR CONTROL ARM OR EVEN IN THE FRONT AXLE'S EVERYTHING IS NEW..SO I JIGGLED THE STEERING WHEEL LEFT AND RIGHT AND FEEL THE PLAY AND HAVE A CLUNKING SOUND..AND NOTICED WHEN I POPPED THE HOOD UP I PULL UP ON THE STEERING SHAFT I HAVE A 1/4'' OF PLAY..(UP AND DOWN ONLY) NOT SIDE TO SIDE.... ALL THE PLAY IS UP TO THE STEERING WHEEL FROM THE THING THAT LOOK'S LIKE A CARRIER BEARING THAT IS ATTACHED TO THE FIRE WALL,DOE'S ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA OR HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM BEFORE....AND IF I AM MISSING SOMETHING

FIXED THE PROBLEM IT'S NICE AND TIGHT JUST LIKE NEW AND I DID NOTICE THAT THE BOLT THAT CONNECT'S THE UPPER STEERING SHAFT TO THE PILLOW WAS ALSO LOOSE AFTER I TIGHTEN IT GOT RID OFF THE SLOP..MAYBE YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECK YOUR'S TOO...THNX GUY'S GOING TO HELEN GA. FOR OKTOBERFEST THIS WEEKEND YOU ALL SHOULD GO ....
