My boss bought a 2018 JLU a few months back that just developed a strange problem. Sometimes when he turns left the steering won't turn for 1 -2 seconds and then it will turn just fine. He web searched and there is a TSB that might be applicable, but folks report mixed results at best. Any ideas? Thanks.

That sounds like a serious safety issue. I believe the JL has a hybrid power steering system (electric pump for hydraulic fluid). Has he checked fluid level? If its good I'd get the pump checked out.

Some early JLs also had welds tear on the track bar that could cause death wobble and delayed steering response.
