It is old rusty gunk that the previous owner was battling. He did a good job clearing it all out. Both of us seemed to have overlooked the overflow bottle tube. He event added a coolant filter on the heater core line that I have replaced once. Everything else is completely clear and/or new. I have to assume at some point in the past this jeep was run with straight hose water for an extended period of time.
