My boss bought a 2018 JLU a few months back that just developed a strange problem. Sometimes when he turns left the steering won't turn for 1 -2 seconds and then it will turn just fine. He web searched and there is a TSB that might be applicable, but folks report mixed results at best. Any ideas? Thanks.

That sounds like a serious safety issue. I believe the JL has a hybrid power steering system (electric pump for hydraulic fluid). Has he checked fluid level? If its good I'd get the pump checked out.

I'd definitely get that track bar checked out ASAP since delayed steering response sounds sketchy as hell, especially if there's already a known weld issue on early JLs.
