Saluda River Tubing and Camping June 21-23

We will be leaving from Chapin, SC Friday June 21st to head up to Saluda NC to camp and then go tubing Saturday. We will be camping that night as well. . There may be wheeling involved, or gravel roads. Come ready to hang out for the day tubing and enjoying some great NC BBQ! We will be coming back Sunday June 23rd.

Post up if you plan to join us.

We will probably be leaving from Chapin around 5:30-6pm on Friday.

Just reserved a double site for friday and sat nights at wilderness cove campground right on the river. Should be a good time. They are getting full, if you are interested in going you better speak up soon and reserve a site.

I would imagine wheeling decision is going to be based on how we all feel after floating down the river for half the day.

they way its looking we may stay around the saluda area, there are some places to check out.

its about an hour and 15 minutes from our campsite to the flats.

So, Stupid question....BUT are we transporting tubes up there? or Renting them? Or "Borrowing" them... Just trying to get a idea.
