I'd love to go offroad-caching sometime.
I just stumbled on this video on youtube:
It seems the trail has a geocache on it and is located in the Linville area of NC. I hope this trail is on the list for the April Southeast Overland trek, it looks cool.
For those of you who are in the Clemson area, I hid a cache outside of Westminster SC. It is a good short hike to a beautiful Waterfall. You can hike the whole trail or drive halfway down it. The trail gave my F150 a hard time trying to get back out of it due to the muddy hills after rain. When it is warmer I suggest bringing a swim suit and some towels because it is a must to get in to swim and explore. There is also a natural tunnel that goes behind the waterfall a bit.
Here is the cache http://coord.info/GC2KRHD
So I never updated, We ventured into the cave, saw some bats, and eventually wandered our way to the back and found the Cache. This was one of my favorite caches I have found.
So there is a "geocache" on the poker run this saturday, but its more of an earthcache as you just go the the given coords and take a pic of your jeep there. Evidentally it takes 4wd to get there.
Interesting, my coworker who geocaches sent me the link to this cache and said we need to go get it.... I'm a bit sketched out by Carvers Mill as I dont know how legal it is...
